Mekaela Mahoney, Legal Intern
Mekaela Mahoney is in her second year at University of San Diego School of Law. At Coastkeeper, Mekaela is working on a variety of projects such as doing research on the procedures of the Regional Water Quality Control Board as well as working with other administrative and environmental laws.
Mekaela received her undergraduate degree in both Environmental Science and Political Science at the University of Denver.
Maria Hague, Legal Intern
Maria Hague is currently in her third year of law school at California Western, where she is focusing on environmental law. Prior to attending law school, Maria worked with several community non-profits. Her work at San Diego Coastkeeper includes preserving Casa Beach for the harbor seals.
Maria graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2000 with a B.A. in English Literature.
